Punk Rock Princess Style!!

Hello everyone, so lately my creativity has been very simple. I have a bunch of more elaborate designs that I want to try out, just not enough time! But I think that's a good thing, because it makes me think about how to make simple, yet elaborate looks instead!

So here's a look I did with very basic stuff, two contrasting colours of polish, in this case I used Revlon's Iced Mauve as my base and Sally Hansen's Black Heart for my black tip. Iced Mauve is an amazing polish from Revlon, a gorgeous shiny pink and so dense! This was one coat alone. 

 And since I hadn't done a lot of looks (if any, really...) with it, I decided to add a top coat of New York Matte over all but my accent nails. I then freehanded the black tips and very carefully added top coat to only that layer so the black/shiny was an added contrast to the pink/matte.

On my accent nails I did the opposite. I added Revlon's Quick Dry over Iced Mauve and while that was still wet I quickly added my awesome studs that I got from Born Pretty Store. Once that was on I added another layer of top coat to make sure the studs stayed.

 And then again I freehanded the black tips and very carefully over that, applied the matte coat on just the black tips to get the same contrast the other nails had. Ufs! It sounds like a lot of work, but it's not really, I promise!

All in all I'm absolutely in love with this look! It's like punk-rock princess type, which is not my style at all, but I'm very okay with having it on my nails! Don't you just love what matte and studs can do to a normal nail look?
